Tour of the " ORECCHIETTE " in the old Bari. 

Walkink in the old  historic center of Bari, away from mass tourism, we arrive at the romanesque Basilica of St. Nicola, at St. Sabino Cathedral, and Svevo Castle.

The hystoric center is characterized by a labyrinth of narrow alleys, through which you will feel the smell of the laundry wash and spread out the sun to dry.

We will meet the elderly housewives who exhibit outside their home ( I Bassi ) , the frame with the ORECCHIETTE (homemade paste) and she give cooking lessons


TOUR in Polignano - Alberobello - Caves of  Castellana        

With an elegant and confortable car, we reach the charming Polignano a Mare; the  town  is built overlooking the sea, characterized by the sea caves, terraces overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The marvelous old town has inspired the works of many poets and artists.

From Polignano, crossing scenic roads, between ancient fortified farms and centuries old olive groves, the scenery changes completely, to reach ALBEROBELLO, the city of the TRULLI, UNESCO World Heritage.The Trulli charateristic hauses dating back to the fourteenth century, are cone- shapedbuild dry without limeston mortars, so that they could be dismantled immediately and not subject to the taxation by the settlers. We visit the Monti district with its 1030 Trulli

In the afternoon we visit the CAVES OF CASTELLANA, considerated the most important speleological complex of Italy and Europe, they are particularly appreciated for the wealth of crystalline concretions, the remarkable extension and the spectacular vastness of the natural tunnels. Among colossal stalagmites and stalactites and large caverns adorned with games of shapes and colors, it is possible to admire the White Cave.



Tour in Trani  and  Castel del Monte

We will reach TRANI, this city will show us its wonderful scenery, rich in history and harmonious architectural lines.

Its splendid Cathedral is the most impressive example of Romanesque Pugliese art. The Cathedral is built on the sea in an evocative port where typical fishing boats are swarming, and where the glare of the city is reflected, a source of inspiration for painters and screenwriters. The historic center of Trani was built with the "White Stone", is dominated by the imposing Castello Svevo dating back to the thirteenth century built on a quadrangular plan, and wanted by Frederick II of Swabia.
Walking on the white stone of the historic center, you can not be attracted by the smells of traditional Pugliese cuisine.
In the afternoon a few tens of kilometers awaits us, beautiful, solitary, with a wonderful view of the Murgia, with perfect shapes, CASTEL DEL MONTE, built around 1240 by Frederick II of Swabia. Declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO considered universally a brilliant example of medieval architecture, Castel del Monte actually combines different stylistic elements, from the Romanesque cut of the entrance lions, to the gothic frame of the towers, from the classical art of the internal friezes to the defensive structure of architecture up to the delicate Islamic refinements of its mosaics.
